Hi. This week, I am reading The Scorch Trials by James Dashner. It is a pretty good book. The genre is science-fiction. So far, it is a very good book. It is the second book in the "Maze Runner" series, and it is just as good as the first book. This book is the story of what happens after Thomas finds out the secret of the Glade. He goes on a tough journey with the rest of his group from the Glade which is called the Scorch. Thomas could easily be seen as realistic. He is just an average teenager, but his life is changed one day and is trying to remember what has happened. He does not have any superpowers or special features. He is a natural leader. Some other characters, called the Cranks, are not very realistic. The Cranks are the main enemy throughout the story. They could probably be compared to a zombie or monster. They have caught a disease that changes them and turns them to evil creatures without any common sense. It just doesn't seem likely to ever be seen. This book is very good, though, and I highly recommend it.
The best book I have read all year is Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. It is about a boy named Ender in the future who is sent to a military training school. The book is the story of his life and future while in the school, and he realizes he is a very importnat person. The book is very entertaining. It is funny and it can be sad. But, Ender's Game is a great book and will definitely be a good book to read.
I recently finished the 40 books, so I don't need any recommendations in any categories. That's all I have to say. Bye.
I might have to try The Scorch Trials. It sounds good, and I still have quite a few books to read. Nice fish.
ReplyDeleteThis seems interesting. If I do read it, it will be after the rest of my forty books because my science fiction has already been filled. Overall, nice book review, helps the reader get a feel of what the book would be before they read it.
ReplyDeleteThe Scorch Trials seems pretty crazy. You made it sounds like a pretty good book. Also, Ender`s Game was an awesome book and I really enjoyed it.
