This week, I started "Gods of Manhattan" by Scott Mebus. It's a pretty good book so far. It is science fiction, and it counts as 2 books. It is about a boy, and one magic trick by a magician allows hime to see the other magic side of New York City, Mannahatta. One character that would seem interesting to talk to would be the main character, Rory. The 4 questions I would ask him are:
- Do you like New York City?
- Why are you able to see Mannahatta after one trick?
- What's better: NYC or Mannahatta?
- Do you like being able to see Mannahatta?
The answers to these questions would probably be:
- Yes, NYC is pretty cool. It's fun.
- I don't know. I'm still trying to figure it out.
- NYC, because Mannahatta has monsters and other bad things.
- Not really, because everything in Mannahatta is trying to steal me and kill me. It's not very fun.
I am not very far in the book, so I don't really know Rory's feelings about Mannahatta yet. The book is pretty decent so far, though. I would probably recommend it.
Does anyone have any books that they recommend? Thanks.
The end.
Is that book kind of like the book Roper did a book talk about? Also, I would recommend Into Think Air to you because it is a very inspirational book.
